Challenge

Dropbox, a leader in collaboration software, approached us to create a video highlighting Dropbox Dash—their new AI-powered tool that helps teams organize, collaborate and create faster than ever.

Creative teams juggle countless tools, files and rounds of feedback. The challenge was to communicate how Dash cuts through the noise without overwhelming the audience. The video and its story needed to be engaging and unmistakably Dropbox: human, helpful and innovative—while visually representing the journey from chaos to clarity.

Solution

Working closely with Dropbox, we made storyboarding the foundation of the project, using it to refine tone, pacing and narrative flow. This approach gave the Dropbox team a clear vision from the start and allowed us to craft a story that felt dynamic, fluid and aligned with their voice. Guided by the theme From Chaos to Clarity, the visuals evolve alongside the narrative, transitioning from frames into animation that evokes forward motion and streamlined systems. Movement, rhythm and seamless transitions became key storytelling devices, mirroring how Dash connects tools, collaborators and ideas in real time. Every element was carefully designed to feel distinctly Dropbox, striking a balance between efficiency and humanity while highlighting speed and functionality. From there, we adapted the commercial into multiple formats and lengths, ensuring it could live across channels without losing consistency.
