Challenge

Instacart, a leader in online grocery delivery, wanted to create a unique holiday gift for its employees: a beautifully designed recipe book featuring dishes shared by team members. With nearly 200 pages of content, the challenge was not just in crafting a visually compelling book but also ensuring that every recipe and story felt as vibrant and engaging as the people behind them.

Solution

SketchDeck collaborated closely with Instacart to turn this culinary vision into a reality. Inspired by the company’s 2024 theme, Cart to Table—which highlights the company’s mission to bring food to tables through their commitment to the humble cart—we designed a recipe book that celebrated both the food and the people behind Instacart.

Our team carefully curated and refined the employee-submitted recipes, enhancing them with bold, vibrant visuals that immersed readers in the world of food.

We created striking layouts and graphics that elevated the project beyond an internal document, transforming it into an editorial-style cookbook worthy of display. SketchDeck also sourced a top-tier print vendor to ensure this book had the premium feel the client envisioned. The final result was more than a cookbook—it was a celebration of the Instacart team, their creativity, and the shared experience of food.
